If my grandmother was alive she would have decoded it. She would decipher dreams the same way she could see the future in a cup of coffee.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>It was summer indeed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>From afar you could hear &#8220;Froutopia&#8221; .<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4hGKiqW8rVk\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And I woke up with a gentle sweetness in my heart &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The clock showed five o&#8217;clock.<\/p>\n<p>The T-shirt was sticking on my skin.<\/p>\n<p>I went back to bed again. To no avail.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><em>Only if It was summer &#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> With blinds ajar. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Wearing just our tank tops, sleeping all together. One on top of each other. Mattresses on the floor.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>And I would wonder, how many people can fit in such a tiny home?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>I would have imaginary dialogues with the cicadas. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With a little slice of watermelon and some feta cheese to cool my soul. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Barefoot. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>At home caressed by a breeze coming from seemingly everywhere. With the windows always open.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em> With the door unlocked. With keys that have been lost for years.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the same spot.<\/p>\n<p>With a few stones to play &#8220;eftapetro&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>With a chalk for my broken heart. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Someone to chase after me and someone to look after.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Without devices. With the &#8220;unwound&#8221; TV that would be brought out on to the terrace only for the Olympics, World and European cups.<\/p>\n<p>Completely Drunk from unspeakable joy. Savvopoulos\u00a0would set the tone:&#8221;national team [of Greece] hello!!.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>With vanilla desert in ice water that takes your breath away.<\/p>\n<p><em>With tomatoes that have this authentic taste, with some cheese and freshly baked bread<\/em>. <em><strong>To dip into olive oil just like the fingertips touch the water from the faucet &#8230;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>A bath with ice cold water, with all the children in a row beside the bathtub.<\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>A sweaty kiss. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>A summer without clocks.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With an EPSA lemonade. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With the caps stashed away in our the pockets. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With our bloody knees. Our triumphs. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With a hose. With bits of corn sticking in your teeth. <\/em><br \/>\n<em>I wish we were all together. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With no absences. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>And we wouldn&#8217; t say anything. It would feel like we were meeting up after a long trip.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>On a divan that creaked.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The only thing I am afraid of is not to forget the sound your voice. I repeat its sound to myself.<\/p>\n<p><em>I cease worrying. I only long for the Sun of the South. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;God never forgot us.&#8221; That&#8217;s what you would say if you were here.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Let&#8217;s go.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I can not listen to them anymore. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I don&#8217;t want to know anything more. I can not decode anything else.
